CHRISTMAS WREATH CLASS - 1/2 DAY

With the festive season just around the corner we would like to offer an opportunity to learn to make some of your own unique Christmas wreath. We will have the gorgeous Fiona Barker joining us to demonstrate and lead us through creating your own wreath to either grace your table or hang in a special spot in your home to welcome in the holiday spirit. Fiona, a retired health profession is also a qualified florist and now calls Anglesea home. You will be making a garland with materials foraged locally which will include dried lavender bunches, olive branches, bush fronds, ferns, and you are welcome to bring anything special to decorate your own wreath..

Sue & Laurel will be provide a special La Perouse morning tea including coffee or tea.

Settle in and watch Fiona demonstrate how she constructs the garland.

Fiona will then lead the participants in the making of your own holiday garland where you will learn some basic floristry skills to create your own special decorations. You will be given all the materials and tools needed to create your own unique natural garland using fresh foliage from the farm and bush.

Materials may include;

· Fresh natural bush Foliage, pine, ferns,

· Dried lavender bunches

· Fresh olive branches

· Pine cones, gum nuts

· Ribbon

At the end of the session you will have a perfect gift or decoration for your own home. The garland will stay fresh for weeks and then dry naturally for your use throughout the year.

No previous experience is necessary, and all participants will be guided and assisted as required throughout the process. There will be a break midway for a beautiful La Perouse morning tea.

Minimum age for participants is 16 years old.

The price for the workshop, includes all materials needed to make your own garland & morning tea.
