La Perouse Lorne
FRENCH-INSPIRED DESIGN AND STYLE
Tucked away in a quiet street in the seaside town of Lorne, La Perouse provides luxurious yet understated accommodation. They have highlighted the timber features inside and out to give the house a coastal feel. The garden is a work of love and the kitchen, complete with library provide a variety of private spaces to chat, read a book or just relax. They are five-minutes walk from the beach, the many cafes and shops of this seaside resort. Or you can just sit and watch the ever changing scenery from your private terrace.
Designed for the global citizen, La Perouse was inspired by the owners love for European design and Scandinavian aesthetics. The balance of natural textures and bright decorative accents with the minimal design and neutral tones of Northern Europe describes the style.
As proud patrons of creativity, we feature original works made by Australian artists throughout the hotel. Many of the bowls & cups used in our kitchen are hand made with love by Australian potter, Graeme Wilke. We love Suzanne Bellamy's work, you will find her paintings and sculptures on display for your enjoyment.
